Something I forgot to mention was that I cut a piece of paper towel tube such
that when slipped over the eyepiece of the scope it extended about 3/4" away
from the glass. This gave me a more solid surface to hold the camera lens
against. The scope was on the tripod and I hand held the camera against it. I
did not use a cable release. One advantage to using the Sony Mavica FD91 is
that it has image stabilization. You can even take 60 seconds of video with
sound and still get it all on a 3 1/2" floppy disk! No..I'm not a sales rep.
