Hello Tweeters,
I observed something for the second time some different behaviour what i
never observed before.I had this two Anna's Hummers here since 12TH of
November 99. There never tolorate each other and never feed together. For
two Hummers i put out two feeders. I notice last Sunday evening comming
home from Grays Harbor, that both male and female sitting side by side in
one tree. It got to dark to look to long. Today comming home , i noticed
again two Hummers sitting side by side, than the male start circle the
female, and than sitting down again. This went on for about 30 minutes or
so than the male went straight high up in the air,but the female still was
real quite sitting to it got dark about 5.45 PM.This is our first Anna's
here in Fircrest, and we had no idea how long this birds would stay. But
maybe there could stay and breed here since there are two.I also did not
see them going on to the Red -Flowering Currant as the Rufous
Hummingbirds.Out of six Red Fowering Currant only one is in bloom yet
