Great idea Christine -

For me, it was the Eagles along the Skagit River last Feb. There's something to the great cycles of nature that leave me in awe - The salmon returning to spawn, the great migrations of our birds, and the eagles. So for me this year, it's the Bald Eagles on the Skagit River in Feb. Pairs sitting in the barren trees, immature and mature. Just sitting, watching the river roll by and taking in its whole domain. Occasionally lazily flying in, or swooping on the river. This is bird that knows who it is and who's in charge!

Peter
