Yesterday (1/1/00) four of us birded a piece of Seattle for the CBC. We covered the waterfront from Harbor Island north to Magnolia Park. We also took a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island.

We logged 50 species.
Highlights included:
LOONS- three species (no Yellow-billed)
CORMORANTS- all three species
HARLEQUIN DUCK-2
HOODED MERGANSER-8
HAIRY WOODPECKER-1
BALD EAGLE-4
PEREGRINE FALCON-1
