SW Benton Co. roads from Prosser to the Umatilla Wildlife refuge
along the Columbia River and back. Weather sunny and a light breeze.
For nearly an hour around noon flock after flock of geese flew over
the town of Paterson enroute from the grain fields of Benton Co. to
resting locations on the Oregon side of the Columbia River. Nearest
estimate is well over 10,000 individuals.
