That reminds me of one time when I was talking to my mother on the phone.
She lives in Texas.

"Kelly," she said. "You have to tell me what this bird is on the lawn.
It's red."

(I'm picturing a House Finch, wondering why it would be on the lawn.)
"Does it have brown streaks on it's underside?"

"No. It's red. It's really cute."

"Does is have any other color besides red?"

"It's gray on top."

"It's a robin, Mom."

"Oh. That's what a robin looks like!"
