In the first week of the new millennium there has been a hallucinatory agent in
the atmosphere around Chelan, WA. It causes "some" people to think they see a
owl that resides "only" in Canada, the first word of the name of the bird is
"Northern", because it lives in the north. We are south of north therefore "it"
can not be in this area. Several other very qualified birders and also Sandy
and I can bear witness to this fact....we have been there and the bird is not
there.

The weather front that is moving in from the west should quickly dissipate this
hallucinatory agent and hopefully everything will be back to normal. If
not.....we will have to go back to Chelan and prove it is not there 'again'.
