Hello!
I don't know where you live from your email, but if you live in Seattle
you can always bring frozen birds to the Seattle Audubon office. We use
the bird skins for our education programs in Seattle schools.
Address is:

Seattle Audubon Society
8050 35th Ave NE
Seattle, WA 98115

Tweeters:

We collected a downy today within a few minutes of its demise in our
backyard. We'd been watching the bird all day as it acted lethargic.
Cause
of death is unknown but probably illness or other natural cause. It's
now
in our freezer and we are wondering if there is any public or private
entity
that would like to have it for study or display. If anyone can make a
suggestion it will be appreciated. Thanks.
