Yesterday we took my wife's aunt, who is visiting from Prague, up to see the
Bald Eagles at Rockport. There were indeed eagles, though not in huge numbers.
Still, we managed perhaps 15-20, mostly adults, between Marblemount and
Rockport. Several were cooperative, allowing close looks.

The park and boat launch at Rockport (at the southwest corner of the
intersection between SR20 and SR530) had several good birds besides the eagles.
Interestingly, we only saw around 20 species of bird on the day, but there were
good ones including:

Barrow's Goldeneye 1 male
Spotted Sandpiper 1 in the parking lot
American Dipper Awesome views - 1 or 2 birds
Varied Thrush At least 8 on the lawn

There was also a Red-tailed Hawk, about 12 feet up a tree, which allowed people
to crowd within 15 feet to take pictures. My wife figures it must have been so
stuffed with salmon it couldn't move.
