Tweets,

I usually wouldn't post this without independent confirmation or at least a
relocation of the bird but I have no time to coordinate either. I haven't
even had time to record this to Birdbox, but will try to do so within the
next hour or so.

This morning (in light snow) I had a BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER in the green
belt at the rear of my home. This bird was associating with a BROWN CREEPER
and the two were actually comical to watch as they both spiraled around the
same trees sometimes in the same direction sometimes differently. The BROWN
CREEPER is a good yard bird in itself as I have only seen one on three other
occasions in three years. The B&W was very vocal so anyone trying to locate
the bird should be LISTENING to find these guys. They stayed within sight
for about 15 minutes before moving down the ravine.

The location I found them in is in the only portion of a very large
greenbelt without a city maintained trail. The neighbors are not fond of
having people wander through their backyards and the city owned property is
very narrow (17-20') in this particular space. However, the birds were
headed toward a lower extension of the greenbelt that has public access.
The greenbelt access is on SE 60th street just east of 147th Avenue SE and
west of SE 146th Place in Bellevue (just opposite of the fake Tutor style
house). The birds were seen in the area ABOVE THIS, but there is no public
access to this area. The major cross street is Forest Drive, about 5 blocks
below this area. The upper part of the greenbelt was in snow this morning
(not sticking to the streets) while the lower part was not.

Another excellent bird today was a single adult FRANKLINS GULL that happily
sat on a ledge outside my office window for about 5 minutes at around 1:30
this afternoon. This was at the NE intersection of NE 8th and Bellevue Way
(the Bellevue Place Building) in downtown Bellevue.

I can be reached only via e-mail if you need further details.
