A great way to celebrate Jan.2,2000, with the highest species count for our
20th year of the Kent-Auburn CBC (Rainier Audubon Society). The weather
was near-perfect and with over 60 participants in the field we ended the
24-hr. period with l23 species. A few highlights would have to include our
five species of owls, an out-of-season Osprey, and a flock of 30
Black-bellied Plovers in flight over a pasture on Kent's high East Hill!
