Hi Tweets,

I was interested in Joyce Lucas' posting about Black Turnstones on the
Everett waterfront on Christmas day. The following day Barbara and I
walked along the shore at Alki and observed two Black Turnstones (surely
not the same birds?) hanging out with a flock of about two dozen
Surfbirds. We walked a loop from the bluff above Alki to the shore, then
north past Duwamish head and back up California Ave. We spotted 32
species altogether, including a late Townsend's warbler.
