Join Rainier Audubon as we usher in a new century by taking
a glimpse at a century of change at
the Woodland Park Zoo!

Lisa Olsiewski (pronounced "o-chef-ski") will present a
slide show that takes a look at the zoo
from its humble beginnings in 1899 to the present day where
the zoo has emerged as one of the
top ten zoos in the United States. After accomplishing many
great things in recent decades, the
zoo is not yet finished as there is still much work to be
done. Lisa will touch on some of the
exciting changes coming to Woodland Park Zoo in the next few
years.

Lisa Olsiewski became involved with Woodland Park Zoo as a
volunteer Docent in 1996 and has
also been a Keeper Aide with the zoo's gorillas and
orangutants. Lisa is currently the zoo's
Community Relations manager.
