The Falcon Research Group will be sponsoring a two-day seminar on
advanced hawk identification taught by Bill Clark. The event will be held
at the Padilla Bay Center near Mt. Vernon, WA, on 5-6 February. There will
be a three-hour class session in the morning (9:30-12:30) followed by an
afternoon field trip on the Skagit on each day. Cost is $100.00 per person.

Bill is the leading expert on the identification of birds of prey
throughout the world. He will be teaching the latest, "state-of-the-art"
methods for identifying hawks, eagles and falcons in our area. He is the
author of several raptor field guides, including "A Field Guide To Hawks",
the industry standard, co-authored by Brian Wheeler. If you have a strong
interest in raptors and ID, don't miss this class. Space is limited so sign
