Hi, Tweets

Gee, I don't look at my mail for a couple days and all of a sudden I find
I'm quoted! While I did say in my book that there was a small colony of
American black ducks at the Everett sewage lagoons, the other two
references were just that the black ducks were specialties to look for at
the Everett site and at the Walla Walla river delta. There are records for
these spots and probably others.

Remember, too, that my book was written in 1993-94. I still have all of
the records stashed away somewhere, but all "specialty" reports are
documented. Who's to say how big a 'colony' is; perhaps a poor choice of
words (or perhaps an editor's choice!).

Cheers, Diann
