Since Greater White-Fronted Geese are a target for some people, I'll mention
that there are at least two which are winter residents at Bellefield
Residential Park, a condominium complex in Bellevue, where I live. They
spend the winter with the Canadas, and can usually be found either here or
in the Bellefield Office Park on the other side of 112th S. E.
Take the S. E. 8th exit from 405, go west to 112th, and turn south. The
entrances to the office and residential parks are across the street from
each other a short distance south of S. E. 8th. The birds are usually
grazing somewhere in the area. (The drive through the residential park is a
private road, so please don't be too conspicuous as you search the area.
Staying in your car is highly recommended.)
