In this weeks Village Voice( Jan.12-18), there is an article about a
long-eared owl that is in Central Park, and has quite a following. The owl
seems to do it's"flyout" at about 5:20pm, so commuters can stop by after
work(?).At New Years' Eve , the "regulars" celebrated the "flyout" with
crudites, caviar, Dom Perigron and Veuve Cliquot! I say,a rather classy bit
of birding, hey what! Also, the CBC for Central Park was 6467 birds and 68
species.
