Well, it rained hard for a change, but it also cleared up. I was joined by
Joyce Meyer and Kraig Kemper (though he left just before the best species).

Best Birds:

Northern Pintail Two flocks, 20 and 95
Cooper's Hawk 1 flew down the slough early
Dunlin 35 landed in puddle on soccer fields
Northern Shrike 1 north of the grass soccer fields

High count for PINTAIL. This is the first time DUNLIN have landed so that we
could positively identify them. First NORTHERN SHRIKE since December 9, only
the 5th sighting of the winter.

All told, 43 species.
