Koi vrs Herons!

My sister in the Washington DC area has a koi pond in her backyard and lost
some of her fish to herons. She solved the problem by providing the fish a
rock ledge to hide under when the heron comes calling. As last report she's
not lost any fish since installing the hiding places.
