We just finished the Fort St. James CBC on a clear and cold day that started
partly cloudy and -14c and finished clear and -20c. The highlights of the
day for me were 2 Northern Goshawks, 2 Northern Shrikes, 1 American Tree
Sparrow, 3 song Sparrows and what I think is the first ever Sharp Shinned
Hawk for our count. We also got nice views of Jupiter and Saturn in the
clear cold air while on a futile search for owls after dark.
