Being a neophyte birder and having the third week in February off
as midterm break, I thought that I would go to the Salton Sea
Festival. Does anyone have a better suggestion for seeing a lot of
peeps and tweets in the warmth of the Southern USA for the third
week in Feb.?

Is anyone else thinking of or interested in going? I would
especially like to team up with a more senior birder.
