Hi Tweets,

Took a birding break today. What a wonderfully sunny afternoon down here in
Kent.

I think I have a personal best.....Five RED TAIL HAWKS in one afternoon!
One was sitting on a small tree next to the Green River just south of the
West Meeker Bridge. The bird was so close I could see it's plumage details
without binocs.

At the Riverbend Golf Course I found several huge flocks of American Wigeon
sunning themselves in the bright afternoon. The green on the males shimmered
beautifully.

I scanned and searched and found one EURASIAN WIGEON hanging out with the
Americans!
