Hi folks,

I picked this up from the SeaBird-L list, and thought that the sea birders
among us might be interested in this web site. Might be useful for
those of us who have the opportunity to travel north.....

For those who may be interested, we have a web page up and running
on Seabird and Forage Fish Research in Alaska.

While not yet complete, you may find some useful or (or at least
entertaining) information there, including:

Reports and Publications (downloadable PDF files)
(including recent Review and Annotated Bibliography of Sand Lance
[Ammodytes spp.] -- see "What's New")

General Educational Information on Seabirds and Marine Environment
(geared toward high school and university students)

Links to many seabird and marine research sites.

Features, including "Seabird Picture of the Month" and "Seabirds in
the News" (see latest on Erika Oil Spill off France -- 37,000 seabirds
oiled so far).

We are looking for input on new links, news, and items that would be
of interest to seabird biologists, so please contact us if you have
ideas or sources. We are also looking for "Seabird Pictures of the
Month" for coming months.

Cheers,
John Piatt
