I believe the waterfowl season ends statewide on Jan. 23. All those cars
are people taking the driving tour of the Ridgefield Refuge, the hunters
got there by 5 am. Remember to NOT get out of your vehicle except at the
observation blind, they do write tickets for this "offense". The birds
have gotten quite use to the cars and don't spook, the only problem is a
lack of parking spots at birdy spots that would allow cars to get past a
another vehicle.
