Hello tweeters, this morning at 7:15 I seen the Iceland Gull at the end of
Portland Ave. just beyond 11th Ave in the dirt parking lot on the right. It
was just off shore by about 4 ft. swimming back and forth feeding on insects
and what ever else it could find. It seemed in pretty good health except for
the injured wing, which didn't look as bad as some has written about in the
past. It was very alert and active. I hope others have an opportunity to
see it before it is gone by natural or unnatural cause's, and no I did not
make an attempt to net or rescue this WILD bird. Good luck and good birding.
