Upon going through my Montlake Fill records for 1998, my findings were
fairly consistent with Kevin Aanerud's. Nearly all the sightings were in
the marshy bay in the NE corner the fill. Generally females outnumbered
the males about 3:2 (this is mostly by memory unless I had specific
notes).

19 August 1998 - 5
21 August 1998 - 8

4 September 1998 - 1 (central pond)
10 September 1998 - 8
15 September 1998 - 8

It will be interested to hear other findings as well as any nesting
records.
