Hi Tweets:

As I walked to my neighbors to feed the Wood Ducks their cracked corn, I
heard and saw two Pileated Woodpeckers chattering and calling to each other.
An adult Red-tailed Hawk was perched in a tree near the iced-over pond.
Watching the pileateds fly to my yard was a thrill. Pileateds have been seen
for many years in my neighborhood, but I've not found where they nest.
