Sorry for not putting my name on the Okanogan posting. I guess my brain froze
for a minute there.
As for the cat thread or others, Dan Victor (list owner) decided in setting
the rules for posting that inflamitory threds like cats lead to posts that
anger many people on the lists. Whether one agrees with that or not one
should respect the posting rules if one chooses to post to tweeters.
Please don't take it personally but I don't understand how anybody can be
interested in birds but care less about "orange-crowned arrival dates" or
"first varied thrush". While discussions about bird-related topics are fine
as long as they are in the rules forum; the bird sightings, distribution
etc.. is the basis behind tweeters IMO.
