Subject: Identification of a bird call

Hi there!

Yes, I should have given you that information previously. I realized after
I'd hit send that I wasn't describing the habitat.

We live in the woods (mixed conifer and deciduous), on a creek. We have a
marshy area, as well. Our neighbors (who own 20 acres; all wooded) have a
small pond. So yes, there are water areas that are well-protected by woods.

Thanks so much!

It sounds like a Swainson's Thrush to me! What's the habitat like? Wooded?
Possibly near water? I have always thought of this thrush's call as an
upward spiral.
