Hi Tweets,

We saw what appears to be a golden eagle, possibly immature, perched on a
power pole at the eastern end of our property at 5pm today. I hiked up
there to get a better ID, but the robins finally spooked him into flight
before I got as close as I'd hoped. He was "huge", definitely not a red tail.

We have orchard that backs some vacant orchard land that edges sagebrush
country.
