Most definitely your bird could have been a Golden eagle. I've seen Goldens
on Yakima Training Center.
In my oh so humble opinion, the Golden Eagle is far more beautiful than the
Bald Eagle-but then, we're talking about birds that usually live in totally
different habitats.
