Heelo Tweeters,
Since so many messages was forwarded to tweeters "WHAT HAPPEN WITH ALL THE HUMMINGBIRDS "? Well i can say i saw so many Rufous Hummigbirds i could not count them on our new hike today on White Pass. There was surounding me while i was on top of a ridge overlooking the whole area on White Pass including the Goat Mountain ridge.I noticed that the Wild Currant this start blooming, and there are no Dragonflies sighted yet.The most exciting sighting for me was the Female Bluee Grouse standing on the smal trail i was hiking on.I was astonished she was not running in to the higher woods, but this standing there still.Whe i noticed a smal something moving to the bushes near by something so smal i could not tell what this was,i figured it was a smal bird nothing kept my eyes away watching the Grouse.Than the female Blue Grouse start making Clacking sounds, and i saw two chicks comming running over the Road. But she kept on clacking away looking for more chicks. And so it was, she found one more stray bird, there all walked to higher grounds away from the trail. This is only the second time i encounter this species so close. The male was also drumming in a distance so this was a whole family.
I also like to mention the Campsites around White Pass was deserted and there was no traffic driving comming home.
