Birders,

I visited Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park, east of Chilliwack,
VERY early on the morning of July 4th. There were still two male LEAST
FLYCATCHERS singing loudly and frequently from the "peninsula" along
the nature trail, although I did not have time to locate and observe
the nest described by Dan Bastaja in an earlier message. Also of
interest were two EASTERN KINGBIRDS, a GREEN HERON, at least 4 singing
RED-EYED VIREOS, and very close looks at 3 BEAVERS near the active
beaver lodge.
