Hi Tweets -

Sorry about the delay, my e-mail was being recalcitrant yesterday.

Well, Michael is on his way and summer is here at Marymoor. Did the
route by myself today. Clear, sunny, nice temperatures, water level at
3.19 (down further since last week). 42 species total.

It was somewhat quieter than it has been this morning, Marsh Wrens were
less vocal as were the Common Yellowthroats. Black-headed Grosbeaks were
still singing, but many others were pretty quiet. Fewer Swainson's
Thrushes, almost no warblers sounding off - Yellow the only one which
sang a little.

But there were some good sightings. Had great looks at Green Heron
walking on the lily pads foraging. There was a female Wood Duck and some
young. Three eclipse plumage male Hooded Mergansers on the west nature
area pond. Both the male and female American Kestrels were hanging
around.
