Over the past several years people all over the US and world wide are
reporting apparently abnormal numbers of mutated amphibians. An internet
website set up to track sightings lists 3 different species of frogs / toads
found in Thurston county with gross malformations--including extra limbs,
missing limbs, missing eyes and facial deformities (Fiander Lake is one
locale).
