Sorry to clog up everyone's e-mail with this but I couldn't reply to Bob
privately as I don't know his e-mail and he didn't provide it at the end of
his message. No big deal.
Anyway, I have a contact for Bob or any one who wants to know about
Marbled Murrelets. Bruce Cousens and Guy Monty did a MAMU study here in
Nanaimo and surrounding waters and since Guy doesn't have e-mail all I can
provide you with is Bruce's e-mail address: bcousens at island.net He knows
much more than I do about MAMUs, and will be able to help you a lot. I was
talking to Guy Monty today and he is from Washington state and he said that
this is usually where the MAMU's nest in that area of the state as there is
no substantial old growth areas any closer to the ocean than this. See you
