I just noticed this band tailed pigeon in a flock of rock
doves at my house, it had a brownish color plumage and had no blak tip on
the yellow bill. It was not grey and I did not notice the green iridesents.
It could have been an imm. but I just relized that unlike the other BT
Pigeons I have seen is that they all seem to be this creamy brown. All other
birds were the normal grey with black tiped bill etc. Just wanted to comment
and see if anyone else has noticed this in their area.
