...........Pedaled my bike around JBH Whitetail deer refuge and
surrounding area near Cathlamet, Wash---on Highway4 along the Columbia
River--halfway between Long Beach and Longview, Wash.
...........Spotted 4 species of Swallows(including several Rough-winged),
1 Pacific-slope Flycatcher, 1 Swainson's Thrush, a Sparrow type
unidentifiable bird, Red-winged Blackbirds, Cedar Waxwings, Goldfinches,
along with the usual more "mundane" birds.
...........DC Cormorants, Red-winged and Harrier Hawks....and quite a few
Turkey Vultures flew overhead. Blue Herons everywhere.
...........A very nice afternoon to enjoy God's winged creatures.
