Hey Tweets,

There hasn't been much activity that I've seen lately, but here's some of what I've seen.
On 6/13 at Sequim Bay there were two OSPREY fishing, I didn't see them catch anything but it was very interesting to watch.
On 6/18 at my house (up Deer Park Rd, In between Sequim and Port Angeles) there were 15 VAUX'S SWIFT flying west. And on 6/27 there was a single one flying the same direction.
On 6/24 also at my house there was one YELLOW WARBLER singing! I never heard nor saw it again, but I'll post if I do.
On 7/6 my 2 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW chicks fledged.
On 7/12 there was a fledgling RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER at my house.
On 7/16 at Old Olympic and Carlsborg there was a female AMERICAN KESTREL, I'm not sure if this is a new bird or the same one from the Old Olympic and Kitchen-Dick area, but there are many Kestrels on Old Olympic.
On 7/17 at the Sunland Golf Course area there were around 7 PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHER chasing each other around in the tree-tops. Has anyone else seen this many in one place before?

The BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD have suddenly disappeared, I barely have three a night coming to my feeder, maybe they're all at someone else's feeder? I can't remember the date of it, but I found a dying Cowbird, could it be there's a virus or something going around? Has anyone else noticed this? From 6/27 to 7/10 or so there's been a pair of HOUSE FINCHES coming to my feeder, a female and a variant male, he's kind of a mustard yellow. About 7 years ago the ground here used to be crawling with House Finches, regulars and variants, now they're fairly uncommon....
