I have no trouble with the new type lenses with using my binoculars. I have
tri-focals. The only problem, that I experienced, was feeling like I had
tunnel-vision. Things I used to see by just turning my eyeballs to one side
or the other, I now have to turn my head. That took some adjustment.

I like the looks of the new type lenses without the line across.
