HI ALL:
The latest checklist supplement arrived with the following changes:
1)Nazca Boody is split from Masked Booby
2)Chinese Pond-Heron is added
3)Oldsquaw is now Long-tailed Duck
4)Black Kite is added. (Hawaiian records)
5)Gunnison Sage-Grouse is split from Greater Sage-Grouse
6)Catharacta (Skuas) is merged into Stercorarius (Jaegers)
7)Arizona Woodpecker is split from Strickland's Woodpecker
8)Black-billed Magpie (Pica hudsonia) is split from Eurasian Magpie(P.
pica)
9)Stripe-headed Tanager is split into 4 species: Western,Jamaican, Puerto
Rican, and Hispaniolan Spindalis.
10) Yellow-throated Bunting is added

The rest of the changes refer to Central American species. One possible
split in the future is splitting the White-winged Crossbill into 2
species. Anybody know the details on this?
