Hello Tweeters,
Yesterday at 8.00PM i watched a male Anna's Hummingbird using one of our feeders The Anna's been absent since May 12th.The reason manly of all the Rufous i had this year.I hanging 3 feeders out and still there was chasing each other.Already today there comming every 20 minutes or so,including a female also.I still have two Rufous here but there dont feed so regular. While watching my yard today we spotted 2 Brown Creepers going up and comming down on the high Pappler trees what devide our property from my neighbours Yard. This is our 105 yardbird. I been thinking when you have this little creeper in you own yard you can get all exited even my Neigbour watches and said oh yes i see this bird before, but seeing the Red-brested Nuthatch beside this birds,he could have made a mistake. We have lot's of Red-brested Nuthatches here in Fircrest, there this common as the Chickadees.Last evening i had a big Aeshna flying around my patio he still was here this morning. It looked like a Blue-eyed Darner.
