Since the issue of falconry has been brought up. Are any of you aware that
WDFW is proposing a rule change regarding falconry and the legalization of
the incidental take of by falcons of species during closed season or no
season, including T & E species. The purpose of the regulation change is to
eliminate liability to the falconer for taking wildlife (birds and mammals)
out of season or that are not hunted at all.

The next WDFW Commission meeting is Aug. 10 where they will likely adopt
this change.
