HelloNarendra and tweeters,
On my way home today in tokland i run in to Greg Toffic,around 3.00 pm He
could not make out on the Bar-tailed Godwit because of the strong wind not
holding the scope still.We talked about the Yellow-billed Loon,and ealier on
Ocean Shores he saw the Yellow-billed Loon.We talked about the plumage.This
bird is in molding and for that reason he can not proable flying.Sommer
records are seldom in Washington For that reason we usual dont see this
plumage.I only hope that the Loon was found on the beach was not the
Yellow-billed Loon.He is the one what was staying close to the jetty and
even standing on the rocks at some time,but always close to the jetty.We
hope for the best.
