David, you might look at Birding in the San Juan Islands by Mark G. Lewis and
Fred A. Sharpe for additional information. It is my understanding that the
SKYLARKS have not been seen with any reliability (or at all) for a couple of
years. Some people have speculated that the foxes have done a number on them.
