Tweeters,
At 8 o'clock this afternoon (friday 6/2), I found 2 Scrub Jays in Enumclaw.
They were approx. 3/4 of a mile north of the intersection of state route 164
and 169 on 169. This is the highway that goes to Renton. This road is also
known as Porter Street within the city limits. If you go to look for them I
suggest that it may be easiest to just park in the vicinity and walk around.
They should be eaay to watch for and listen for. I don't know of any
other accounts of this species in the Enumclaw area. Great bird for King
County. Good Luck!
