I'm sure this is an old topic but I'd appreciate some advice. A friend of mine is unhappy about a Pileated Woodpecker drilling holes in his house. Others in the housing development are not happy for the same reason. Does anyone have any advice? I fear for the welfare of this beautiful bird. Thanks in advance for your help.
