A Least Flycatcher was calling repeatedly in Hardy Canyon, Yakima County 11
June. From the entrance gate into Hardy Canyon, cross the bridge over Wenaas
Creek and go south ~ 100 yards, then head west after negotiating an opening
in the rose "hedge." Cross the large meadow and then find your way along
game trails to the aspen woodlands west of the southwest end of the meadow.
The Least Flycatcher was in there, not 100 paces from wetter habitats with
willows harboring a number of Willow Flycatchers. At the bridge were
Pacific-slope Flycatchers.
