West Coast Gulls
Master the art of identifying a challenging flock - the Gulls
and enjoy the quaint surroundings of lovely Port Townsend

West Coast Gull - Weekend Field Seminar
Gulls of the sea and land are both conspicuous and common......but do
you know how to identify them? Join the flock for a fun weekend in
charming Port Townsend, where we will be guided through the field
identification, seasonal occurences and life histories of the ?look
alike? Family Laridae.

The class will be based at the Blue Gull Inn at Port Townsend and
include information filled lecture-discussions, and emphasize field
excursions to explore the local shorelines and marine areas for the wide
variety of gulls visiting this time of year.

Instructor: David Drummond, Wildlife Biologist/Birding Specialist

Cost: $110 for three day class
Accommodations start at $85 per night and include a full
