The Washington Birdbox is a voice mailbox sponsored by the Washington Ornithological Society. To

him. Please contact me, Rebecca Galloway, by phone (206-525-9102) or e-mail
(cametobe at ix.netcom.com) if you have any corrections, comments or questions about this
transcription. And golly, it would be great if you would speak kind of s-l-o-w-l-y!! Thanks!

I am resubmitting the following due to massive misspelling of the name of the road:

Tuesday, June 20, 6:50PM. Ryan Shaw, 360-491-1084. This morning at 6 am I observed the OVENBIRD at
Packwood at about one tenth of a mile back from where the pink flagging pavement marks the spot.
South of Vantage, about .8 miles south of the state park, on Huntziger Road, I observed the BLACK
THROATED SPARROW by the right side of the road where Gene Revelas originally reported it last week.
That's about it. Good birding.
